Igniting a Spark
Initially, this section of the work was supposed to be for writing about thoughts at the end of the day. The plan was to take whatever ideas, concepts, or stories occurred to me and put them down. Now though… now, it occurs to me just how reactionary that strategy is…
I don't really want to spend all of my days reacting to what life may throw at me. In a very real way one of the reasons I am doing this is to practice setting my own terms and taking action. This is not supposed to be reactionary. This is supposed to be creative and a change in philosophy is required.
Rather than reacting at the end of the day to what has occurred, I am going to start the day with a particular idea or thought and meditate on it. That is what will drive the writing. The thoughts will be used to direct the day, rather than the day directing the thoughts.
