Get out of the Dumpster

I can’t really say why, but today I ended up watching a series of videos on “why men are walking away from dating”. I’m sure everyone is familiar with content of this nature. It displays the most spiteful, the most misguided women seen on social media who’s main goal is to explain why men are trash. They go on entitled rants about how men don’t, won’t, or should pay for them, how men don’t give them enough respect or attention, or how men are essentially worthless and they do all of this while objectifying themselves. The point of these video compellations is to demonstrate that it is not the men who are trash it is in fact women who are trash.

It is fascinating how both parties have such a tendency to paint their opponents with such a broad stroke and it brings up the interesting thought that perhaps the error is not in the world around us, but in the way we view it and (perhaps even more importantly) where we are looking. If all you see when you look around you is trash, then you may want to consider the possibility that you have an eye for garbage or perhaps that you are looking in a dumpster. Maybe it is time to change your perception and maybe, just maybe, you should consider looking elsewhere. This only applies if you are actually looking for quality in relationships of course. Are you?

Just something worth thinking about.
